SEATTLE, WA – Oberto, the nation’s leading all natural jerky brand, announced today that they are taking their 100th anniversary celebration to Seafair (Seattle’s iconic summertime tradition) as the official beef jerky sponsor.

As a part of the partnership, Oberto will have their UTV, Vintage Hydro and Jerky Mobile cruising down the streets of Seattle in the marquee Torchlight Parade on Saturday, July 28th. Oberto will also support the Torchlight Run festivities earlier in the day with a booth near the run’s start & finish line filled with samples and fun giveaways.

For the weekend of Seafair on Lake Washington (Aug 3,4,5th), Oberto will be active on the water and on land. In addition to sampling, Oberto will have a tent for event goers to visit and experience:

  • The Oberto 1975 Vintage Hydro and their 2017 Unlimited Hydro

  • Oberto’s highly successful UTV race vehicle

  • The company’s iconic Jerky Mobile (Lincoln).

  • Cornhole games

  • Head ‘n’ hole board for great picture opportunities

On Lake Washington, Oberto will continue their 40 plus year tradition by having an H1 Unlimited Hydroplane competing in The Albert Lee Appliance Cup hydroplane boat race.

“Oberto was established and built in the Seattle area so being a sponsor in this iconic Seattle tradition is very important to us especially as we celebrate our 100th anniversary,” said Tom Hernquist, President and CEO of Oberto Snacks. “We have a lot of fun things for people to come check out and experience. We are excited to celebrate Seafair and our 100th anniversary with the Seattle community.”

Events for Oberto at Seafair kick off at noon near the Torchlight Run start/finish line at Westlake center on July 28th.  They are immediately followed by the parade taking place later that day down the streets of Seattle.  Seafair weekend Oberto events go from Friday, Aug 3rd to Sunday, Aug 5th at Gennesse Park on the shores of Lake Washington.
